About Allison Wonderband

Allison first discovered music at the age of 3, being fortunate to have a piano in her home. According to her father, she played around with the keys like she was trying to figure something out, so she was signed up for lessons. Since that time, she was in and out of lessons, choirs, classes, and bands, but she always spent her own time reading music books, writing songs, or figuring out how to play something by ear. She decided to venture into professional session/gig work and private lessons in 2005 and has been excited to expand her clientele until she was able to do it full-time since 2017!

She also enjoys many other forms of art and performing, such as theater, film, dance, yoga, hand-drumming, knitting, jewelry-making, and vlogging. Having been diagnosed with ADHD and depression at the ages of 10 & 12, respectively, pursuing those passions have been a struggle, but the only way through is forward! She has made it her mission in life to show that anyone can experience the joy of music, no matter your age, gender, or neurological make up.
